Events, Dinners & Conventions - during the year

Long Point Lions Club - Events, Dinners & Conventions - for both the Lions & the Public.

Our Club Year begins at Labour Day, with a new Executive & runs through the calendar year until the next summer.  Our List of Events begins with the BayFest Beer Tent & then the Sunday Chicken Supper, our 1st public supper in the new Lions year , (which occurs on the Sunday of the Labour Day weekend, when our village has its annual end-of-summer festival) & runs until & including the Car Show in June on the Sunday before Canada Day of the following year.

Our Lions' meetings begin each Club year with the 2nd Thursday in September & run on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month from September to the following June. There are no Club meetings in July or August.

Events are held at the Port Rowan Community Centre, on College Street, Port Rowan, just North of Front Road.

It is easily located on the East side of College Street, just North of Front Road, in the Western half of Port Rowan. Look for Glendennings Funeral Home on Front Road as your landmark.  It is at the intersection of College & Front Rd.  A few doors North with plenty of free parking is the County-run "Port Rowan Community Centre".  Look for the Lions' White Arch, out front.

Another landmark that may appeal to you more than a funeral home, is the Beer Store, which is at the intersection of Ethel Ferris St & College St., just a few doors North of the Community Centre.

Long Point Lions' Club meets in the Port Rowan Community Centre on 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:00pm; Social hour begins at 6:00pm.
